Hawaii inventory is still substantially low, which has increased and sustained competition for homes and is keeping prices relatively strong.
Current mainland trends are showing prices continue to drop but the lack of inventory and foreclosures/shortsales is keeping our market strong.
But with mortgage rates more than doubling since the start of this year, the calculations for a homebuyer have changed considerably.
